By virtue of our call, SDMs share in Christ’s prophetic role, interpreting the signs of the times through preaching and teaching in accordance with Gospel values. We become messengers of Christ to the poor, needy, marginalised, and voiceless.(cf. GS.1 & 4)
PREACHING
We preach Christ crucified through the Word and by the witness of our lives. Engaging with people across all walks of life, we enhance their lives through the proclamation of the Gospel. God’s call is echoed in the cry of the poor, and our society recognises this as a sacred truth. We interpret the signs of the times as prophets guided by Church teaching and the Gospel. (cf. EDUCATION
We fulfil our prophetic role through faith formation, literacy, and social awareness programs. Recognizing the urgency of religious harmony, we promote dialogue and unity across faith traditions. (cf. GE,8 DC,25)
