Most Rev. Peter Celestine Ofm Cap, the Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar Diocese welcomed the Society of St. Eugene De Mazenod (SDM) to serve the Diocese. Accepting this invitation, Very Rev. Fr. Gerard Francis OMI, the Founder of the Society of St. Eugene De Mazenod, sent Rev. Fr. Anthoni Adimai SDM to the Diocese in July 2000. He started St. Anne’s Convent School in April 2001. Fr. Adimai is the founder and first Principal of this school. This school is assisted by the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary (FSPM). This school provides moral values and excellence in education with the motto ‘Become Human to Humanize. Our focus is on developing each student’s skills and attributes, using creative and critical thinking to help them thrive in an increasingly complex world.
