The Society of St. Eugene de Mazenod (SDM) is dedicated to serving communities both in India, where our founder Fr. Gerard Francis OMI began this noble mission, and in various countries around the world.
In India, we actively engage with rural and underserved parishes, providing essential services, education, and support to those in need. Our commitment to loving the unloved stems from the vision of our founder, who believed in reaching out to the most marginalised and vulnerable members of society.
We are now serving in various countries across the globe, continuing the mission with the same dedication and love. It was the dream of Fr. Gerard Francis OMI that the mission of helping those in need would extend beyond borders and impact lives everywhere. Today, his vision is being fulfilled as we bring the Gospel message to distant lands, offering hope and compassion to the forgotten and marginalised.
No matter where we are called—whether in remote rural areas or bustling cities—we carry the spirit of SDM with them, actively seeking out the most vulnerable. We work tirelessly to help the poor, care for the sick, and provide education to those who lack it. In every corner of the world, we uphold the values of faith, charity, and selfless service, living out the call to serve Christ in the poorest of the poor.
Through our work, the legacy of our founder lives on, as we bring Christ’s love to those who need it most, making a difference in communities all over the globe.
